Express response to large-scale translation projects

The Japanese original text used a style of writing character traits for nearly 100 characters using 'generic text + specific variables.' However, reproducing this style was challenging in other languages due to limited grammar rules and variations. Nevertheless, since the early stages of development, DICO's localization team of native speakers of various languages got involved and proposed an optimal sentence construction system.

For a popular game series by a major publisher, we handled translations in over 10 languages directly from Japanese, reproducing nuances specific to Japanese in other languages. In addition to translation, we conducted research on past series, compiled terminology, and provided translations more in line with the legacy. Furthermore, aiming for efficiency and quality improvement, we streamlined the often costly process of voice recording in other languages, delivering quality beyond the client's expectations while keeping costs in check. Finally, we conducted LQA services in all languages for these enhancements.
